Multiple governmental units throughout the ARRL Southwestern Division are recognizing "Amateur Radio Month - June 2023" in appreciation for all the public service activities provided by Amateurs in their jurisdictions. Jeff Reinhardt, AA6JR, long time Public Information Coordinator for the Santa Barbara Section is shown accepting the Award from Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors Chair Das Williams.
PIC Reinhardt has been instrumental in accomplishing coordination for these Awards in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties for over a decade, and has assisted the Los Angeles Section in coordinating with their County Supervisors.
San Luis Obispo County Supervisors presented a similar Award this year to SLO Amateurs, thanks to Jeff's coordination efforts.
