Events
-   The weekend of May 24-25 is the CQ World Wide WPX Contest, CW, the last major contest of the season. Texans can do well in this contest at the bottom of the solar cycle - give it a try!
-   The weekend of June 14-15 is the ARRL June VHF QSO Party, the most important VHF contest of the year for stations in Texas. Six meters can be very exciting in this event. If you have a six meter radio, put up any antenna you can, look up your grid locator, and join the fun!
-   The next CTDXCC club meeting is 6:30 PM, Tuesday, 27 May 2008, at the Old Quarry Branch Library, 7051 Village Center Dr., Austin, TX. The meeting topic is TBD. NOTE: This is the Tuesday following Memorial Day, the day after our normal fourth Monday! Many club members get together for pre-meeting Tex-Mex dinner around the corner from the library at El Arroyo at 5:30 PM. Visitors are welcome!
