Just made three one hourish S&P passes throughout night up and down the
band. Slowly turning the dial looking for possible weak DX. Did work
PJ2/W4IPC for a nice 9 pointer. I did have a higher than usual noise level
resting at about S7, bouncing to S9 plus with lighting static from storms in
MO and KS. Normally my noise floor is right around S2-3.
Rig, K3S 100 watts to 22' vertical to knee inverted L 110' horizontal wire
traveling west ~18-20' above ground.

Very poor conditions and high QRN, heard only two very weak USA stns and couldn't copy well enough to complete a QSO. - ok5wa
