The message sent the other day about the Fleming Jenkins / Clos la 
Chance community meeting for their new tasting room in Los Gatos was 
missing some pertinent information, namely the time and address - here 
are the details you need if you plan to come:

What: Informational Meeting regarding Clos LaChance and Fleming Jenkins 
proposed Retail Shop and Tasting Room
When: Thursday, September 7, 2006
Wine Tasting Reception starts at 6:00 p.m.
Informational Meeting starts at 6:45 p.m.
Where: The Opera House at 140 W. Main Street in Los Gatos

Dear Wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains,

Clos LaChance Winery and Fleming Jenkins Vineyards & Winery are
planning to open a joint Retail Shop and Tasting Room in downtown Los
Gatos. We have secured a location at 45 W. Main Street and are
currently in the process of working with the town to (hopefully!)
receive our Conditional Use Permit and move forward with the venture.

We are holding an informational meeting/reception for Los Gatos
merchants, neighbors and any other interested parties next Thursday,
September 7th at the Opera House in downtown Los Gatos. We would love
to see anyone from the Association there, especially if you have any
questions or concerns.

We hope that the downtown Los Gatos location will become a "hub" of
sorts for tourists and locals alike as they plan their day/weekend of
wine tasting in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We plan to display and
promote the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowners Association brochure as
well as any other winery brochures/information that are sent our way.
A "kiosk" of sorts. Our Grand Opening is still a ways away, but prior
to, we will be reaching out to all wineries once again to send us
their information for display.

If you are able to join us on Thursday, please let me know. I have
all kinds of ideas for wine tours and other cross-promotional events
and would love to brainstorm with you!
