[DEMI] 144-28 transverter TX IF preamp

Good evening.

I need to modify my DEMI 144-28MHz transverter to add the mmic tx if 
preamp to compensate for the low drive level afforded by my new FT1000MP 
as I need at least an extra couple of dB of drive to fully drive my 
external PA.

Can anyone let me know the preferred MMIC type to use (I have both amr-3 
and mar-4 handy) and the appropriate bias resistor value.
