Tree and the group...

I was going through the list archives, and came across Tree's post from 
March of 2002 concerning this list.  I just found out about this mail list 
by accident.  I was reading an online back issue of the Rochester VHF 
groups newsletter and saw a reference to this list.  I didn't know this 
list existed!  I have never seen anything about it in any of the other VHF 
reflectors.  I think it needs to be advertised on the other reflectors to 
let people know it exists.

I also saw that someone (K5TR I think) has had problems with their 144-28 
transverter again.  This might be the other T/R relay in the unit.  We (the 
N2NK crew) had a similar receive problem, and it turned out to be the 
voltage T/R relay, not the antenna relay.  Also the low output problem was 
seen and it turned out to be in the LO circuit. We had a 2N2222 go bad and 
the LO wasn't putting out enough to the mixer.

This can be a great group for everyone with DEM products to help each 
other!  I hope more people learn about it!
