Tree,

you are correct in that the list has been very quiet, however, in the one
instance that I've needed to use the collective knowledge available within
its membership (a possible problem on checkout of a 1.3GHz transverter) it
was worth its weight in gold! I received a number of replies within just
a few minutes of my posting that were spot on, and indicated that the
checkout was fine, and that the doc's supplied with the kit were indeed
too restrictive in parameter limits.

I sincerely doubt that the number of accurate rather than speculative
responses would have been as quickly forthcoming from a more general
purpose list.

I understand your viewpoint, however, given that it generates some spam
hits, and appreciate your work at keeping it clean.
