[DEMI] Wrong polarity DC to my 10gig xverter...

Welp, near the end of the day yesterday, I hooked up the xverter and
IF to DC incorrectly.  A fuse protected the IF rig but I had failed to
add a diode protection to the Xverter.  It powers up (the on light
comes on), but no receive and no xmit.  I must say noise level goes up
slightly in the IF rig when I turn it on but not as much as before
when it was working properly.

1.  What blows-up in this unit when I wire it up backwards?  Is it
user replaceable?

2. Or is a ship back for repairs recommended.  Fortunately, don't NEED
it till January, but of course some nice experimenting this fall would
be good.
