Well it looks like I am on the home stretch with the transverter - I
have RX gain, TX out and even RF! The TX IF pot never seems to quite
satuarte the output .. I have about 825mA max on XMT while receive is
410mA so I know that the output close. My problem now is the
verification the outboard antenna relay switching (24V from demi). I
can't tell if it is switching or not. K3 on the TC is pulling in, C13
polarity is correct and the relay coil measures 271 ohms. Is it
possible to ever measure voltage on the cathode of D3 (+R) on the TC
board? Is was told that C13 is supposed to charge up - and the pulse is
enough to pull in the relay while the 13V can hold it in... I never
measure a thing across the antenna relay although there is RF on the
N.O. side of it (measured) - but possibly leaking through perhaps.
suggestions welcome -
