Shorten the coaxes. The couplings in the hair pin filters are partly or
mostly through the air so coaxes laying on them will change their
parameters quite a lot. Think of coax loss from the LO being dB per foot
instead of dB per 100 feet. Remove as much as possible. Tie the IF cable
with baling twine or lacing tape or tywraps to keep it away from the top
side of the board.
