> - Linking and unlinking works hugely better if you have a bank of
preprogrammed memories with each memory having RPT1="K5CTX^^B" (or W5HAT
or another band-module - A or C) and UR to include the reflectors their
their "band-modules" that you wish to use, e.g:

AND RPT2=K5CTX^^G or W5HAT^^G. The linking only works on on voice streams routed to the gateway. So a full bank of linking, chatting, and unlinking memories for all three bands of all six reflectors for K5CTX band B would be:

UR RPT1 RPT2
REF001AL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF001BL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF001CL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF002AL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF002BL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF002CL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF003AL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF003BL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF003CL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF004AL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF004BL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF004CL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF005AL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF005BL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF005CL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF006AL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF006BL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
REF006CL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
CQCQCQ K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G - to chat
^^^^^^^U	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G - to unlink

The ^ represents spaces as usual. This obviously takes a lot of memories, and some refelctors are a lot busier than others - 1C, 5A, and 6B are the busiest right now. If you are comfortable working with your radio, you could just enter one link and edit it on the fly. Thus you could get by with:

UR RPT1 RPT2
REF001CL	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
CQCQCQ K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G
^^^^^^^U	K5CTX^^B	K5CTX^^G

and you would just edit the UR for the first memory on the fly to whatever other reflector and band module you wanted to try.

- There is no band plan, so you may stumble across some net on 1C at times and folks just chatting at others.

- We have no local plan for what to do when you are done with a link and done operating, i.e., the gateway is linked and you are turning your radio off. I recommend unlinking if you are pretty sure no one else is linking locally because...

- When you turn your radio on, you don't know if the gateway is linked or not. If you hear nothing for a minute or two, you still don't know. If you want a local only QSO, you should unlink to be sure before you start.

Good luck and please experiment!
