Alan,

HOTERA (Heart of Texas Emergency Repeater Association) isn't exactly a
club--just a handful of guys who saw a need for emergency comms an
experimentation in the northern end of Williamson County. We have
been a 501 (c)3 from the beginning, and we're on a commercial tower in
Walburg. Membership is open to all who are interested.

We put our 2m analog repeater on the air in 1990 and decomissioned it
in December, 2007. Our D-Star system is coming up, band by band, now.
