[Boringiss] Update - ISS QSO

Hi Everyone,

Just a note to let you know what is happening on the school front.  All of
the classes have been busy learning about the ISS, mostly from the
internet sites and information my media specialist has provided.  The NASA
site for children is great, as is the other NASA site.  They have
formulated questions and are preparing for this experience.  The more they
learn, the more their curiosity is sparked.

We have put up a mural in the main entry hall celebrating the event, as
well as providing information for our parents and community.  There is
also space to hang student work related to this event.

We are so appreciative of Larry Tyree's support of this project for Deep
Creek.  I know it is an incredible amount of work for him and all of his
assistants.  This is one of those special experiences that builds lifelong
memories for students.  I hope we are successful in adjusting the schedule
so that the pass can occur during our school hours.
