The two antennas we are going to use have been assembled and tested. They look
really nice.
Paul Nyland will be working on the antenna support for the "big" antenna and the feedlines
for both. Many thanks to Paul for helping out with this.
Talking to Connie (the lady in charge) - we felt that Friday, the 25th of January would be
the day to do the dry run - probably in the morning (maybe around 9 AM). We will setup
everything as if it was the real thing (to make sure we don't have any interference
issues and make sure all the pieces we need are there).
I think Kerry will have the pass information around then, so we will know how long
of a window we are looking at.
I am taking off tomorrow for Taiwan and Korea on business... will be back on
the 16th. However, I should be active on e-mail.
For the non hams on this list:
QSO - "a two way conversation on the radio".
Next, we will start learning morse code!
