Some of you may remember me as a host of 2009 US and Region 1 ARDF championship. I am writing this letter because I wanted to ask my fellow friend on their positions regarding my situation and US team selection process. It is not a secret US team members get selected based on results from only 2 US competitions - US Championships. Last year I was hosting US and Region 1 Championship in Boston, completely alone with no sponsors and with only support from my friends and guys from Cincinnati, Joe and April (Thank you folks for your help!). I believe it went well and everyone enjoyed competitions. Because I was a host I could not compete last year. This year, because of my wife has a scheduled C-section on May 20th, it appears I will not be able to come to Cincinnati to compete. I did train for WC all last year by competing at ALL Ukraine official events and was ranked #3 overall in Ukraine raitings as well as I went to Europe Championship and competed there as well. I did ran 180-250 kilometers every month to get ready to compete. But because of bad timing I cannot come to Cincinnati. I would like to ask my ARDF friends if you can get me on the team to compete i Croatia. Thank you, Vadim P.S. If you ordered US team uniform it will be delivered to you on time.
